Anyone have information on this lady?  She work in a bar or club?  Would rather try my luck meeting first than blind call with agency.

 

Not planning on being in town until next calendar year, getting started on homework for first trip to Thailand.

I am afraid that you're doing an usual newbie mistake : you are targetting a ladyboy before traveling. You are not guaranteed to find her once you arrive in Thailand, or if she can feel that you selected her only, she gonna play with you to pump up your money. 

 

This Madame A looks more than 27 y.o. IMHO but I don't know if anyone will give you an advise. 

 

However, you chose to look for a ladyboy in escort agencies websites. Maybe you are not aware about it, ypu made a choice. You can find ladyboys :

- in escort agencies

- in gogo bars or ladyboy bars

- finding their phone number in a porn site (eg ladyboy.xxx , ladyboy-ladyboy.com, ladyboygold.com, franks-tgirlsworld.com/  but you need to purchase your membership before you can find a phone number)

- freelancing in the street

- using apps with their smartphone to meet : WeChat, badoo, Grindr etc …

- using dating sites, the most popular being Thaifriendly.com in Thailand (Thaifriendly also has an app that you can use once you are over there).

 

The same ladyboy can be contacted using several of these methods. For example, I met a ladyboy after I had a contact with her at Thaifriendly. She had given me her Line ID and I had contacted her when I was in Bangkok. I had paid 1,500 for 1 hour. I could have met her in a bar. It could have costed me 1,500 baht + 500 for the barfine, one drink, a lady's drink and even a short time room near her bar, let's say between 2,200 and 3,000 baht. The same one costed 6,000 baht for a meeting through an escort agency. 

 

Another tip consists in not bargaining before you are in Thailand and ready to meet. When you contact ladyboys from your country, they usually give you high prices and sometimes ask you to send them money (for nothing). The best tip given by an expert consists in not bargaining. You know that the standard price is 1,500 baht for a ST in BKK. You meet her and you pay her at the end of the meeting. She is likely to ask you for a few hundred baht for the taxi or for the tip, but not higher. If she asks for higher, just put her out. It's not so easy since prices seem to have increased in BKK last year. BTW, above all, never bargain a price unless you are ready to meet. Always be ready not to accept if she asks for higher than the local market rate  (1,500/2,000 in BKK, 1,500 in Phuket, 1,000 in Pattaya and lower in other areas).

Checked for Madame A on smooci.com.  First time she wasn't on, checked later in the evening and found an ad, she's charging 2400 as opposed to the 6000 through agency.

 

Signed up for Thai Friendly as well, may be a noobie for Thailand, but have done plenty of mongering here in the U.S.

The main mistake for mongerss consists in targeting a few ladyboys from a "to do list" instead of being ready to hook up those they can reach when traveling, or to focus on one means of finding them whereas many other means exist.

 

You are not a noobie. You come with your experience in the US, different culture but also a different way to react and/or make decisions. After your first trip, you will probably be able to explain a new method to find ladyboys.

A little OT, after signing up on Thai Friendly received messages from a couple of girls asking what my Line ID was. Had never heard of Line, we always text in the US. Guess they are similar, but on line reviews are kind of low for Line. Would you recommend this app when arriving in Thailand? Would like to meet up with both GG’s as well as Ladyboys. Planning for both Pattaya and BKK.

Yes, I would, just take it as another messanging app, quite popular with Thais and Japanese, you can try bee talk as well. It has a look around function. So you can scan around people near you. If you have been playing before then just a change of enviroment might need alittle adjustment.

Line does ask for a lot of permissions to your phone, but it is definitely the most widely used messenger app for girls in business, so if i was you i would install it and then you can always delete it after your trip

I'd rather say that Line is the most popular app among ladyboys in Thailand. In other countries, they are likely to use other Apps (but who cares since we're talking of Thailand ? ). 

Yes Line looks like ordinary messages, but you can use it to send messages abroad just using your data credit. 

Another messenger you should know is WeChat. It was not so popular in Thailand 2 years ago, and wouldn't use it. One year and half ago, a Cambodia ladyboy advised me to "play WeChat". WTF ? It has a search function. I call it my ladyboy radar. Everything is explained in this post.  End of last year, I noticed that WeChat had become popular in Bangkok. 

 

 

You needn't waste your time with contacts prior to departing to Thailand. If you do so, they will become impatient before meeting and block you, ask you for too high prices, try to scam you, or forget you before you go to Thailand. Line is a good way to store contacts, then to delete them or delete an account. Ladyboys also use it to filter people who will never go to Thailand. It's a safety for both you and them.

6000 THB is only $183 US Dollars.  Here in the USA, there isn't a bar ST/LT scene, so you have to rely on agencies and dating sites.  I've never paid less than $200 USD for a ladyboy here in the USA, and with the latest batch of social-media-driven legislation removing most sites/agencies the girls use, the prices are up around the $300 to $500 range for 1 pop.  Hell, I'm scared to even monger on a respected (and expensive!) site like Eros because the the government might break down my door and lock me up lol.

Some Americans may seem like overly cautious noobies, but please understand that mongering is extremely challenging and expensive here, so we may prefer agencies until we get used to the scene.

It is common in Thailand for a escort/freelancer to charge more as she is worth less . (Ladyboy Amy as an example. Was incredibly cute in her prime and now is just fat )
Better to walk around the shopping centers and see ladyboys in the flesh in decent lighting ! Learn a little Thai and say sa dee kap ! You would be amazed how chatting them up in public gets results and costs so much less !
