We hear about these stories on occasion, there was a Thai lb Miss Tiffany 2009  winner, Nong Jazz who reverted to living as a man and became a monk, in the case of Mark Estephen religion specifically Christianity, has a major role.

Filipina transgender beauty queen Sable Gonzales, Super Sireyna winner 2014 and Miss International Queen 2016 top 10 finalist is now living as Mark Estephen

She did not have SRS, but still had a number of procedures done - plastic surgery on face, breast implants, etc.

I guess that baklas revert more often to male life since the social pressure is very strong in the Philippines. More Pinoy ladyboys never had surgery nor took hormones (it's probably changing now), so most of them just cut their hair to be allowed to have a job.

Difficult to know that for sure, but certainly there is more pressure on them in the Philippines than lbs in Thailand. Sabel had a very tough childhood, and I wonder if proper counseling would have helped more than turning to Christianity. Mark still appears, sounds and mannerisms are still quite feminine, so non-acceptance might still not give the lasting inner peace being sought after.

Maybe it’s the jacket cut but put longer hair and she hasn’t lost the female look in that picture, as much as generic it is
