Front row sitting - on the left went by a number of names including Michelle and Helen (from memory), and the gorgeous Smile between Beam and Nana.

Such sad news of the demise of Cocktails & Dreams. This funny little bar down a seedy looking laneway off Bangla Road really did change my life. Following a marriage break-up back in early 2011, I went with a couple of mates to Phuket looking to drown my sorrows and just have a wild time. I discovered C&D one night whilst I was out walking alone and happened to catch the 10.30 cabaret show. I was mesmerised! Never really had much interest before in ladyboys, but after that night things took a major turn. On that trip I visited C&D three times, chatting to the girls and watching the shows, but not having the nerve to take one of the girls. I thought it was just a curiosity brought about by the marriage break up and too much booze! However, on my return to Australia, I researched the ladyboy phenomenon and booked a return trip alone just four months later.
With a bit more courage this time, and staying alone in a hotel, I eventually took one of the girls to "try out" this new venture!
Well, I never looked back, and although it took me about three years, and a number of return visits to C&D, I finally accepted that I was more interested and turned on by ladyboys than genetic girls. So C&D you have a lot to answer for, but thank you for showing me the way!
Too many beautiful girls to name all, but special mention to those I met in the beginning, the beautiful Nam, and Amy from the cabaret. My favourite bar girls Little Beer, Smile and Bombay. Thank you so much for the great memories. I do wish you all the best for the future.
A big thanks to Jimbo for having the balls (hmmm) and the cash to start this venture. I'm sure you have created a lot of great memories for many felangs!
Cheers

So what happened to the former C&D girls? Did any follow jimbo to TJ's in Laklua? I have a few good memories of Beer and Nam also. Fun girls.
