I'm hoping for some advice on a couple questions before I make my first trip to Thailand. 
If you want to help answer my questions, just pick a number and answer it. If you feel the need to be cynical or criticize my ignorance, please move on. Thanks in advance for your time.

 

1. I read a lot about buying Bar Drinks. I don't drink alcohol (I get 10ft tall and bullet proof) nor soda. Will that be an issue? Can I get bottled water or juice and satisfy the house's requirement to buy a drink?
2. Cash - How to manage it? Do I walk around with a huge bank roll? Is it easy to access ATM's or get cash in or around the bars?
3. I read some recent reviews on the various LB Bars and in a few they discussed naughty play in the actual bar. Is this acceptable? Legal? I like full contact, naughty lap dances and being able to let my hands wander while I relax and meet people in the bars.
   I also love to people watch and naughty people watching is much more fun? Which bars are best?
4. Tour Guides - Thailand is a beautiful country and I want to see it, mostly the beaches. Since I will be traveling alone, it would be nice to have some naughty company! Is it possible to find an English speaking LB Tour Guide and Travel Companion? Will traveling with a LB (Bar Girl or otherwise) create drama for me away from the bars? Would I be better off with a natural born girl for my naughty travel guide?
5. If I find a LB who's personality and looks I like, who can behave in public, again will it create drama or issues for me to take her into the world outside the bars? An American running around with what will be/or assumed to be financial arrangement?
6. To go further on question 5 - I intend to spend a month in Thailand and then Australia. Will having a LB as my travel partner in Australia do more than raise eyebrows? Or a Thai girl?

Finances will not be an issue for me when I visit, but I am somewhat physically challenged. Stairs are a major challenge for me, as is long walks. (And I couldn't run to water if my ass was on fire!)
I'm wondering which hotels are best? Accessibility, clean, WiFi and multiple guests? I prefer a luxury hotel but don't want that to limit my fun. So, suggestions would be great!

Welcome to the forum and thanks for taking the time and effort to craft coherent questions.

#2) I rarely walk around with more than 10,000 or 20,000 THB and I don't find that amount unwieldy. Unless I manage to get a lot of small bills, if so, I'll split my stack between two pockets. ATMs are numerous and conveniently located in Thailand, but it depends more on your home bank's policies on off-network and foreign ATMs.

#3) Let us know which city you are going to, but you can do a bit of fondling and kissing in most LB bars. Some beer bars are more tame, but if it is an LB venue in BKK's Nana or Pattaya it will probably be ok. Be alert for cues from whomever you are grouping, they will let you know what's what. If it is a venue that passerbys can easily peer into, I'd advise some discretion.

#5) I'm not sure what you mean by drama, but I think not. The worst will be an "Un-enlightened" foreigner who giggles; sometimes Thais don't approve of LBs, but they aren't rude. I recently took a LB to Phi Phi Islands and stayed a few days at a nice hotel. We we're treated like any other couple and had a great time.

Dave J, welcome to the Forum! I'll answer a few questions, and I think that other members can add more details.

 

1) You can get water in the bars - most lb bars don't have juice - but you will have to pay the same price as a soft drink - around 130 Baht or so - quite inflated compared to 7/11

 

2) ATM's are everywhere, but unless you have a Charle's Schwab card, you will have to pay an additional 200 Baht per transaction (Thai foreign ATM card bank fee) plus whatever fee your home bank charges for a non-branch ATM use (typically around $5-10 per transaction). There is a quite detailed thread about this here

 

3) Actually this is illegal, if a bar was ever raided by Thai police anyone involved in those activities would be arrested. That being said, that is not likely to happen as most lb bars pay "tea money" to the authorities to avoid being raided. However, I would suggest if you decide to partake in such activities you do so in a quiet area of the bar, not open to public view.

 

4) Yes, if you can find an English speaking LB whom you have good chemistry with, she can be your tour guide for visits to other areas outside of the bars. Just be sure to settle payment and cost issues before hand - putting in writing is a good idea. The chemistry is the key part. You don't want to get stuck with someone for a few weeks if things go bad. Some decide on a daily payment so if you decide things are not working out, you haven't committed a large sum before hand.

 

5) There will be no issues, as long as she dresses appropriately (ie not bar fashion) when visiting non-bar areas.

 

6) LBs can face difficulties getting tourist visas to visit most western countries - so  this probably won't work out.

think the Guys allready answered your questions...but regards to number 3....well...if you comes to Pattaya...then visit Lita`s bar in soi 13/2  or baby boom in soi bukhao  .......they will fondle you...not opposite
