New property opened 1 Sep 2016. Photos look good.

Aspira manages the iCheck inn brand and the Aspira Sukhumvit includes the same description as iCheck inn Nana (also on Soi 7/1) - "within easy reach of the Adult Nana Entertainment Plaza. This boutique hotel is NOT for families but appeals much more to adult single male travelers or group of men."

But can anyone on the ground confirm whether Aspira Sukhumvit is guest/LB friendly?

They haven't responded to emails, which may not be a good sign (although it was a general email address for the group rather than for the specific property). But since some or all iCheck inns are guest/LB friendly (I know Soi 2 and Soi 11 are), hopefully Aspira is too.

"Situated at the heart of Sukhumvit Road, within easy reach of the Adult Nana Entertainment Plaza. This boutique hotel is NOT for families but appeals much more to adult single male travelers or group of men."

These two sentence from their web page translate into "sex tourists and hookers are welcome."

Why else would you include that in your hotel's description?

The hotel description is pretty clear they will be guest friendly at least for 1 lb, what is not is whether they will charge extra if you take 2 lbs to your room. You won't know that unless they tell you.

Unfortunately one can never assume - TiT after all.

It's not hard to imagine a joiner fee following Thai logic (e.g. hotel cost more than expected to fit out and open - charge a joiner fee), or in some cases individual property managers have issues with LBs specifically.

And it often pays to be cautious when something that should be obvious (judging from the hotel description) isn't actually stated. For example the "Sleep With Me" hotel in Patong has a joiner fee from memory.
