This BBC news really gave me shivers.
I spent a few months in total, in that area a few years ago. I did try all kind of food ( street-food, cooked, uncooked...) that my lb was suggesting... used toilettes with no toilette(just a sheethole, that's the standard) . Since she was no doctor or nurse, "health" wasn't part of local dictionary.
I guess I was very lucky under those circumstances , no sickness or contamination. Living , unknowing what sort of dangers I escaped..
Solution? Love and get on a diet... cheers :-)
