I understand Bumrungrad hospital is a good one and see that they do full health screenings at a much lower cost than in the uk. Has anyone had these and if so any comments?
I don't have any health problems (that I know of ) but wondered if it was worth getting a full screening when next in BKK
Anyone had a full health check in whilst in LOS

They are quite through, but it's up to you to ask for the tests you'd like doing. i.e. which package you want.

Note that if they find anything untoward, they refer you to the appropriate consultant for follow-up and appropriate tests and treatment, the testing packages do not include any treatment options.
As an former hospital consultant myself, I found them to be excellent, and have been through the healthcare screening myself, and a couple of their specialist follow ups, once for orthopaedics, and once for cardiology.
A number of their physicians are also working in some of the top Bangkok hospitals like Siriraj.

thanks for the comprehensive reply, now I just have to decide if I want to go for it given I have no known issues

I think it is the ideal time when you have no known issues. I had the most comprehensive package about three years ago, actually after reading a post from the Game, who gets a regular check up.
Bumrungrad lives up to it's reputation, I was there for about 6 hours and really went through the works.
The results were all good except they said my liver would appreciate an occasional break from the daily shiraz tsunami

I was planning to have a full scale health check again this trip however, with it only being a relatively fleeting visit & alcohol plus kamagra jelly constantly in my system, it would have been a little embarrassing to being told about my drink problem and probable high blood pressure
It was Slappy's fault because it was only because of his encouragement that I hit the ground running as soon as my ass landed in LOS.
No sooner does he depart trousersnake arrives aided by Tommy and Rocky
