Great news today. The Philippines has removed the requirement that a visitor must get travel health insurance AND that they get a negative test within 48 hours. Now the only requirement is evidence of vaccination with booster. Nothing else!
The whole testing thing gave me a lot of stress last time. I am traveling to see her on July 6 for a month. So happy!

Dude, this has been true for months. When I visited my girlfriend last July, all I needed was proof of vaccination and the QR code from the Philippines Health site. In fact I went through the inspection in Manila in less than 10 minutes and I ended up having to wait for my girlfriend at the airport.

On my most recent trip to the Philippines in October, they eliminated the vaccination requirements. You still have to register beforehand and get a QR code but nobody even looked at it. Not when I checked in for my flight or at immigration in Manila.
