Title. I'm a young adult from the US - taking a vacation to Colombia because the trans ladies there are so unbelievably fine. Not Brazil because I speak a little Spanish but 0 Portuguese (I wish I did seeing how many beauties there are in Sao Paulo. Can't take friends from home because my love for transwomen is not a topic that comes up.

Thinking about 2 weeks, maybe 3. Around September sometime.

Looking to meet some people here to hang around with during the day + go out at night sometimes. The thought of going alone, not knowing the language, and only meeting people at night to have sex with seems a bit sad. If anyone knows where mongers/mongers like us hang out, that would be cool too.

A little bit about me - work in a business field, budget of 200/day or so, mid 20s, etc. Comment below to learn more.

If you're on the fence about Colombia or haven't considered it before -

https://co.milerotic...ganar/20618076/- she is 200,000 Colombian Pesos per hour, or $50 for a 10/10. Possibly one of the hottest girls I've ever seen, cis or trans. $50 dollars!

https://distintas.net/isabella-hurtado- she's 150000, or $40, also a 10/10 in my opinion (admittedly in a fake way)

https://www.photopre...horros-id-2cnxj- can't be far off in terms of price and is similarly mindblowingly gorgeous.

https://www.photopre...lamada-id-vajdt- her too.

Airbnbs are $25/night for gorgeous apartments in the downtown areas, Medillin or Bogota.

Food is great too.

comment below or PM me and we'll have an awesome time in Colombia! Crossposted - sorry admins if that's not allowed!

I have been to Colombia a few times in recent years. The first trip was about 6 years ago and I've enjoyed going back every time since.

Colombia is pretty safe if you behave and use common sense, but it's definitely wise to find travel buddies for a first trip, especially if you want to go mongering.

I would suggest Cartagena for a first trip. It's very tourist friendly. It's has a stunning old town, nice beach with a lot of working girls hanging around, and a few good party islands where things can get wild. Bogota and Medellin are a lot of fun in their own way, but compared to Cartagena, their red light areas are more dangerous.

All three cities have a lot of TS you can hook up with online, especially Medellin which is probably the TS capital of Colombia, but in Cartragena there are a lot of bars and night spots where you can safely mingle with working girls and TS day and night - in Bogota and Medellin you probably want  to be clear of the gogos and red light areas before it gets dark.

Comparing the nightlife scenes. Bogota has a very safe cosmopolitan area, with a lot of good nightlife, but not really for mongering. The red light area is way downtown in Sante Fe. It has some wild gogo bars, but defintely not tourist friendly once the sun sets. It's possible to stay here solo and find a guest friendly room where you can call up dates and use some as tour guides, but it's not a great idea to hit the gogos and red light areas alone - especially if you don't have much Spanish.

Medellin has a similar situation, with the main Zona Rosa feeling unsafe even in the day time, and very dangerous at night, especially where the TS hangout to the north. There are also a lot of gogo bars spread around the city, but most are in dodgy areas. As a tourist you'd want to stay in the El Poblado are, which is much safer and most airbnbs should be guest friendly. Here you'll also find Parque Lleras. Lleras is a block of bars, clubs, and late night eateries around a small park. The park has a lot of freelancers and some TS, as well as some university girls looking for foreigners, but it's often double the price you will pay in Zona Rosa.

In contrast, Cartagena is a much smaller coastal town, with lot of freelancers around the Bocagrande beach in the day, and then a lot more in the old town through the evening until the early hours. It's much safer here when mongering solo. The area around the Clock Tower in the evening is often a sea of stunning freelancers, and there are always some small groups of TS close by.

It's also worth noting English levels are low, a lot of people you meet in Colombia with speak little to no English.

If you are going solo and planning for September, I'd definitely recommend doing a few hours of Spanish each week, or download Duolingo and give it 15 mins a day. It will make a huge difference to your trip.

I have hit Colombia, Brazil and Mexico on the last 2 years as their covid protocols are very lax. While it is more dangerous, common sense should be enough to keep you out of danger. Also, definitely learn Spanish/Portuguese going there - they do not get the volume of gringos like Thailand.

I also did a few trips to Mexico and Cuba recently, it makes you really appraciate how well the most Thais understand English. Even heading upcountry to Esan, you can get by with only English.

Colombia is by far the worst for English levels, compared to even Mexico and Cuba. An alternative is trying to find a local guide with good English, and keep them on retainer, especially if you are solo. We did that in Cuba and for our first few days in Colo, bia on our first trip. In both cases we found a taxi driver who spoke good English and seemed like a nice guy. We were very well taken care of.

Where do you visit in Mexico?

Definitely appreciate the English-ability of the Thais after doing Latin America. I visited Ciudad de Mexico and the surrounding areas like Taxco, Cuernavaca, Pueblo, Acapulco and some of the Aztec ruins in the vicinity. Although I think I prefer Colombia, it is so relaxed there. How about yourself?

Luckily my Spanish is passable to the point where I can get by solo but I have used English-speaking guides for various tours. Ironically, I probably speak Portuñol as the two languages just blend in my mind after doing flip-flopping trips between the two.

I only did 3-4 day trips in Mexico inbetween other main destination, I haven't explored much. We did Cancun and Monterrey.

Cancun is what you'd expect it to be, a town heavily skewed to resort tourists and spring breakers. Nice beaches and a great place to take a date for a getaway, but a bit soulless and wasn't ideal for a group fo single guys over 30.

Monterrey was a nice surprise. We weren't expecting much, it was pretty cool It had a nice riverwalk which lead to the old town, it felt pretty safe, and it had lots of interesting bars and restaurants where you could mix with locals. There are also a lot of strip clubs and naughty places, but not much of a TS scene in either of these places.

Of all the places I've visited in Central/South America (which is not so many), Cartagena was the most fun, and I've been back 3 times in the last 6 years. The next place on my visit list is Costa Rica. San Jose is very interesting, and Jaco looks like a lot of fun.

Where in Mexico did you have the most fun?

Yeah, I have heard that from practically everyone who has been to Cancun which is why I avoided it. I particularly liked Acapulco. It is a laid-back beach town not too dissimilar from Cartagena, but Cartagena is funner with a good ts scene imo. CDMX is a cool city too with an awesome ts scene - check out my trip report here for details.

I may be biased but I really like Brazil. Rio is a world class city that fully deserves the great reputation it has. The ts scene there is like fishing with dynamite. But you do need at least a rudimentary knowledge of Portuguese.

I would only give Thailand a slight edge because it is so safe at night.
