It has been stated on another forum by several BM that, Ying, the famous, big butted, Ladyboy on Walking Street has passed away. But no one wants to state the exact cause. It was also stated that Ying was HIV positive. Does anyone know for sure?

I also read the same about this ladyboy. If this is true, she should be protected by medical secret. She didn't want to tell anybody (or couldn't tell if the cause is something else). We'll never know and we have to respect her although she passed away.

I made this photo in November 2015 with a phone. She looked splendid on that day.

May Ying rest in peace.

If she had a contagious deadly disease, she has no right to privacy, especially being in the sex industry, If you knowingly infect someone with HIV you could be charged with a crime. The cause of death should be announced given the fact that she had bareback sex with many men and should have taken the correct precaution. She is dead, now let's help the people who made bad decisions to have unprotected sex with her. I am sure she would not want to leave her bad karma behind.

Medical secret is an absolute rule in most of the civilized country. Doctors are not allowed to reveal the health status of their patients, above all talk to horny dogs going to Pattaya for their fun. Being a ladyboys' Customer doesn't  allow to know about a ladyboy's health health.

If you have any doubt about a ladyboy, you can either avoid this person or use condoms. The bad decision is to refrain from using condoms. Running after gossips in social media is no solution.

People cannot hide behind their right to privacy while they destroy other people's lives. If a person tests HIV positive in the US, their status is reported to the local Public Health Agency. Highly contagious people do not have a right to privacy but they do have a right to seek ttreatment and a responsibility not to transmit their disease to someone else. If they lie about their status then  they are being criminal.

How someone dies is just as imptortant as how they live. It is amazing why people are so afraid of discussing someone's death unless they are being lauded at a funeral.

You're making a giant assumption that since HIV is a reportable disease in the US the HIV status of infected people is then made publicly available. This is NOT how the process works. The sex partners of the infected patients are contacted, and their sex partners are contacted by health care professionals for followup and treatment. The HIV status of an infected patient is only publicly known if that patient announces it, or they have been charged and convicted of deliberately infecting multiple partners.

You are also assuming that HIV is a reportable disease in Thailand, which currently is not clear. They certainly collect statistics about it, but whether they record all the patient information is not known. The other thing that is certain is that no one knows what the actual HIV status of Ying was except her health care providers, possibly some family and possibly some friends - so explain just how an LB forum is going to get verified information about this?
