Can I get 20 mg. LISINOPRIL (Zestril or Prinivil) in Phuket pharmacies without a prescription? I'm running low and my prescription for refills expired. I have the bottle with the Rx info and my name, etc. It just expired and I would like it filled to avoid going back to my rip-off USA MD...

Yes Mr. Doodle, you can get almost all medications (except narcotics) without prescription in LOS pharmacies. However be sure to buy from a licensed pharmacy, as the amount of fake drugs in Thailand are quite high.

Thanks Rx , in China you cant find things like azithromycin in the drugs stores, they have the more common antibiotics, in the hospital they will give you azithromycin. But i like you can buy most drugs here though.

For what kind of ailment?

In general, any branch of the Bangkok Hospital system is regarded highly for emergency medical treatment.

For regular health care and preventive medicine, you'd probably be better off going through your insurance company to find a doctor, rather than asking an insanely vague question on a forum dedicated to transgender prostitutes.

You didn't hurt his feelings, he was explaining that without more information it is unlikely you would get a useful recommendation - also this is not generally the most popular or common question to ask on a lb forum.

That being said, if you can afford it, Bumrungrad Hospital in Bangkok has excellent doctors, many whom are board certified from western countries.

I have been at Burumgrad hospital 2 years ago. This is an hospital that I recommend. I wish we had so good private hospitals in Western Europe.

You should not use metronidazole unless you have a confirmed fungal infection EVER. And taking broad scope antibiotics like Cipro when it is rarely needed causes resistant strains of bacteria that become hard to fight. In my previous life as a pharmacist I used to see it overused all the time.
