On one trip a friend paid for our round of 3 drinks and the mamasan brought the change back in 3 stacks of 25 baht

That's very considerate, especially if the change in your plastic film container is running short


I like Limmatquai, it's the 'Beach Road at 3am' ago-go bar and maintains the standard well, better than Hi-Boss. I had my first ever ST room 3-some in there back in 1998... sweet memories.

Perhaps with all the rank reviews its just as well.
I do love a bit of sleaze though.

From Walking Street turn into Soi Diamond. The first half of Soi Diamond is split in two by a row of beer bars. The last two beer bars, I think, rotate and the customers slowly go round and round. On one side of Soi Diamond you will see Naughty Girls and The Sea A GoGos. On the other side you will see Paris and Carousel A GoGos. Walk past the beer bars and GoGos to where Soi Diamond narrows. Limmatquai is on the left about three or four doors down. There is almost always a LB or two standing outside. There is a neon sign above the entrance but I think that is the only sign.

I 'd add: In soi diamond should you see "swiss food" to the left then you are 10 meters to far.

There is at least one cutie working there who I 'd like to entertain next time. Rest is so-so. Will take pictures to document.

I quite like the place as there is always a few ladies dressed in full lingerie I had a few early evening drinks in there its a nice place to chill . On a few of my earlier visits to the bar i found the girls to be pushy but i think its like that with most bars once you become a regular you tend to be left alone more. Just spoke to Jelly Dong he said he will pay a visit there tonight after he has finished in the Pig and Whistle Get in there my son

I think it's a case of strength in numbers in this place. In fact I think I was part of the posse during your visit hoot.

In deed you were. I think that night was my maiden visit to the place.

I recall being warned about making a visit to the bathroom in that bar, as my memory has been diluted with too many Chang's, I don't recall the reason :? Maybe they were just concerned I wouldn't be able to find my way back...

So I was escorted up the long and treachorous narrow darkened pathways and when there....didn't have to do a thing apart from pee..........erm...thankyou Rosie....

Yes, going to the bogs or out the back for a snout on the stairs is perhaps one of the best bits of a visit to Limmatquai :wink:
