Hey Guys, I know there is a decent list of ladyboy friendly places here and I also understand the wonders of trip advisor etc. That said, it doesn't always work.

I'm looking for something in the $50 USD off season, probably April or May 2016 (Edited to add price) range with a nice pool and excellent WIFI within lets say a normal persons 10-15 minute walk of Pattaya's goodies. Walking street, soi 6,7,8ish.

I've stayed at Salathai, Eastin Easy, Tony's etc in Patong and consider all of them pretty "central". Something in the equivalent of Eastin Easy but in Pattaya would be great.

Obviously this is my first planned trip to Pattaya.

Oh and for those of you that looked at my failed trip report, a hotel a long way from drunk Thai's on motorbikes that mount the kerb and run you down at 30 mph!

Worry about the things you can affect and not the things you can't affect

OK. Noted, lets go with "functional"

I'm not downloading movies here, but don't want to spend an hour checking my emails.

I always like View Talay 6 (specifically the rooms rented by Honey's coffee shop), they are apartments, but also work very much like a hotel with daily maid service if you pay for that. The reason I like them is no joiners fee for 2+ LB, private exit right to the beach, very central location, large pool, parking for a motorbike. 1600baht per night with daily maid service.  Cheaper if you stay longer.

Is there a web site where one can check availability and/or make a reservation?

Have you heard of 'Google?'
Old, cantankerous, and sorry if I piss you off - well, not really. Just enjoy!

This is the site I use:

honeyscoffeehouse.com

You can also rent from view talay 6, off of agoda, which I have done in the past, but not all firms renting on agoda have an on-site office/front desk down stairs like the coffee shop does.
