Tap water services in some sections of Sukhumvit Road will be cut or disrupted from late Tuesday night until 5am on Wednesday, the Metropolitan Waterworks Authority has announced.
The MWA said it will carry out the maintenance and repair of a main water pipe on Sukhumvit Soi 21 (Asoke) between 10pm and 5am tomorrow. As a result, tap water may run slowly or completely stop during the period in the following areas:
- Sukhumvit Road, sois on the odd-number side from railway near Soi 1 to Soi 39 (Soi Prompong)
- Sukhumvit Road, sois on the even-number side from the railway to Soi 26.
The MWA advised people in the areas to reserve tap water for use during its maintenance operations tonight. For further details or assistance, they can phone the agency’s public service centre at 1125 around the clock.
