It's not uncommon for people being unable to access certain websites from within Thailand because the website they're trying to access is either geo-restricted or banned.

Hopefully this will help out a few expats and travelers to the Kingdom (or anywhere else) and it is free ~ Hola.

Being from the UK myself it allows me easy access to view the likes of dailymail.co.uk, BBC iPlayer, ITV Player, 4oD, Sky (using my Dad's login subscription) and others ...

Hola is an easy add-on for several browsers and platforms, such as; IE, Chrome, Firefox, Android and Apple.

Using my laptop for streaming TV and on-demand TV both work a treat on a decent internet connection too. Much faster than through the likes of CyberGhost, for example. I get my full download speed rather than VPN'ing several laps of the globe.

Give it a try when you're in Thailand. I wouldn't be without it now

Thanks. Exactly what I was looking for.

I've used a few paid for IPs which didn't work so great. Just tested this one and works well for 4OD and BBC iPlayer. So far so good.
