Been absent from the Forum for a while - tried to put it out of my head that I couldn't get across to LOS for a long long time - so didn't want to depress myself by too much window shopping on this Forum, but hey! I'm being let off the leash for a week and heading out to Paradise in 3 months.

 

I want to spend a coupe of days in Udon as an excuse to get away from a BKK LB who has her claws into me as I want some variety this time. 

 

Researched the posts relating to Udon. First of all thanks to Petsie for creating a priceless map of key locations in Udon, I'll repeat the link if that's ok......

Also thanks to Kendo, managed to glean a fair bit of information from his renowned trip reports to the area.

 

Kendo stayed at the Top House hotel - which is conveniently close to "Day & Night" aka the Cattle Shed - does anyone know if this is girl/lb/guest friendly? I am assuming so. What's the standard like? Does anyone have any recommendations on decent (& tolerant) hotels?

 

Also am I right in assuming there are no dedicated LB bars in Udon but you may well find one or two in regular GG bars, for example amongst the bars located in Day & Night?

 

Finally - and it's a long shot, any LB massage outlets in Udon?

I would say the slightly better option Hotel wise would be Home @Udon a bit further down the road. Worth the extra baht. I have never had problems bringing LB's back to either that or Top Mansion.

 

I was up there a few months ago, still no dedicated LB bars per se. There is a few working at different bars around the Day & Night complex and also on the bars dotted around the road where Day & Night is located.

 

Plenty of flights from BKK to Udon now, I think 14 a day now Bangkok AIrways are chipping in as well.

There is a small bar just at the entrance to Day & Night where the ATM machine is, imaginatively called ATM Bar. This seemed to have the most LB's there over recent visits.

 

Later in the evening, the FL's descend on Mr Tongs or Model'59 Bar out on the main road.

I can't help but to chuckle at Top Mansion, and ATM Bar, for that matter since in the porn industry ATM doesn't mean Automated Teller Machine.

I have a trip booked in a couple of months to Udon Thani and should be able to report on the LB scene, hopefully.
Have granted Pannarai Hotel the status of my logistic base for those days.
Seems in the Center of the action. Hopefully not too much noise (for the daytime rest)

There's a few at ATM bar in the main bar precinct and a few on TF.
