In another forum, there is a post about this hotel.

It is a new hotel, it seems very nice, good prices (no breakie included. It costs from 150 baths, they say), very nice pics too.

LB friendly and, what is a must for some of us, no cost for extra guest(s).

The only con i see is location , a bit out of hand for those who like the Buakhao/Soi Diana area, i think.

It deserves a look, anyway, imo.

Any reviews?

Owner of this hotel is guy who owns also The House-ladyboy bar in Soi 13/1 (opposite of La Bamba). Very nice and friendly French guy.

It must be very new. I stayed at a place called SY for a week about 2 years ago, I think it's near that location, and there was a field across the street then.

It's very similar to The Bonkai Resort, in layout, price and location, even the websites are similar, I'm guessing they are both owned by the same people/group.

I stayed at the Bonkai Resort a few years back, but while I really like the rooms and vibe of the place, the location isn't ideal by any means and those who don't rent scooters and don't like to use motorbike taxis will want to be a lot closer to the action.

I don't believe that Cocco Resort and Bonkai Resort have same management/owner. It's possible and likely that buildings was originally made from same company, but probably Tony bought this and turned it to Cocco Resort.

It's not that far actually, about 1.5km from Walking Street. If you want to be middle of action immediately when you go out from hotel, then it's not best place for you. But if you want to separate your "mongering moments" and otherwise spend nice quiet holiday resting your nerves almost countryside atmosphere (perhaps with your chosen LB friend wink.png ), still being only 10-minutes motorbike taxi drive away from action, then this is ideal choice. Not to mention that owner is actually one of us.

Teppis, great news, hope it works out well for you and Coco Resort. They should be a great improvement with their promotional photos now you're on the job!
