Just a quick one which do you guys think is better old school ladyboys ie 5 years or older or the new crop of talent I personally think the older talent is far better there looks are more unique in my opinion here are a few pics (sorry if they are a bit sucky I'm on my phone)

Times have changed, I think the only one of that crew who is still around and looking as good is Eye. Maybe Moo too, but she's missing something.. Wise was one of my favourites but I lost contact with her a few years ago and haven't seen here around since.

 

It's a good thread, I have been saying it for some time but I think the general talent was so much better 5 years back, there were so many stunners back then. I genuinely don't think the general talent you see in Nana and Pattaya today can compare to how it was say 5+ years back and I think it could be down to a mix of factors:

 

- Today the better looking ladyboys prefer to go work in Singapore/Hong Kong/Europe/The West. They earn so much more money there, when they are in Thailand they don't want to work and see the bar scene beneath them. 5+ years back it was very difficult for ladyboys to work abroad or get several sponsors (seems to be pretty easy these days), and some of the top earners in Nana and Walking Street seemed to be raking in the money. 

 

- Ladyboys can earn more money by having 2 or 3+ boyfriends on the go then working in the bar. This is also why many ladyboys don't like to do porn now or have their pictures taken in the bar, whereas 5+ years back ladyboys loved making sex movies and posing for bedroom shots, meaning the quality of ladyboys you'd see online was much higher.

 

- Many of the ladyboys who do earn well today seem to blow a lot of money on unnecessary operations and get a bit carried away. You could say My Way bar is today's Jenny Star Bar and where you'd find the hottest ladyboys in Pattaya, but a lot of them have freakishly wide hips, pointy noses, huge chins, and other exaggerated features. Back, say 8 years ago, you'd always find some absolute stunning ladyboys at JSB, and  they'd often have had a lot of ops and hormones, but they would still be very natural looking, and I don't remember many having these exaggerated features. 

 

- Far more ladyboys take hard drugs now compared to back then which also has some effect on the quality levels, with many ladyboys not taking care of themselves as well as they should.

 

These are just my opinions, but I think there's some truth in the above observations.

Very interesting read, wish I had made the time to visit years ago.

But I wonder if not doing porn really brings in more money for them? Maybe it makes it harder to find a boyfriend, wouldn't know.  Seems like good advertising, like how girls in the US used to use it to get famous and get more on the stripping circuit, or now in escorting.
