According to Thaivisa.com, there are a bunch of new rules regarding the sale and advertising of alcohol. What really jumped out was the fact that there will be no sales after midnight. Looks like they're going to turn every season into a low season.

I'm sure Jimbo approves...he's all in favor of Thailand's turn towards a military dictatorship. I'm sure it will do wonders for his business too if true.

It's been like that for donkey years more or less, just turn music off, hide the bins, so if the Gestapo come along and see no bills or money can't do nowt. Been going on in patts and bangers for years

These rules have been in place for years, and it seems some over-zealous cop in Chiang Mai is saying they must be obeyed. It's just not going to happen!
