Just think i would make some small notes/comments from this trip

As you might know i arrived on my birthday...early morning...after a flight with not much sleep, so it proberly wasnt the smartest start for a vacation as i was shitty jet-lagged at the evening for my birthday and had to capitulate faster than an Italian at war

Well they Arent stupid at C&D...they just saved the cake and the balloons for the NeXT day

 

Was as always "Loaded" with a shitload of food for the Guys Down here, and at my check-in my suitcase was 11 kg overloaded, so i had to put 7 kg of bacon and cheese in my handluggage

so i gotta admit my suitcase where reliefed when Jimbo and Hartmut showed up to empty it

 

if memory dont cheat me i was carrying:

 

1 Whole side of smoked salmon(aprox 3 kg)

4 glas of marmelade

12 pieces of diff. cheese( about 3 kg)

almost 5 kg of bacon

500 teabags

10 packets of cookies

4,3 kg of jelly-bears

1 bottle of good wine

 

so you might understand why i didnt want to carry my suitcase up to the room before the Guys came by....

Sitting in the afternoon yesterday when Oh hit me for some Money...well i have asked to go shopping for me as my suitcase didnt had much Space for clothes

 

Oh... Teerak...give me 5000....

 

Me... too much... dont need so much clothes...take 3000

 

Oh...goes shopping...comes back an hour later....starts empty her bags...make-up...make-up...new bag... more make up....hairdryer...

 

Me....asking politely...Teerak...you seems to forget my clothes.....

another great night here in Patong  an relaxed afternoon at Tootsie bar where good fun was had in friends company

managed to get a shot about how to fill up a tuk-tuk while costumers where waiting inside the car...you just stop up and buy 2 bottles of gasoline

those wise Word my father told me many years ago....and i remembered them today....

 

So after breakfast Oh told me she wanted to go the room and Watch some thai movie, i told her i would just go and grab a burger...but i actually went to Jungceylon for my shopping

 

came back an hour later with the clothes i wanted in 2 big bags....and the following happend..

 

Oh.... you have been shopping....??

 

Me... yes

 

Oh...why you not take me with you...

 

Me... nooo take to long time...and i dont get what i want

 

now i start unpack all of the clothes showing them to her...Finally this...

 

Oh you not buy anything for me...??

 

Me...ofcourse teerak..... i buyed you a Tshirt

So in the evening we were invited by Big peter to dinner at top of the Royal Paradise Hotel in the chinese restaurent

guess i never seen such an orgie of food as we was served  we were 7 people but there must have been food for  14

 

ofcourse i was dressed apropiate which later came to a lot of funny comments from the girls of C&D WHO is use to see me in a more "casual tourist outfit"

 

Today it seems we will hit the Beach if we can wake up the girls

Batman, very happy to see you've recovered from your bout with bad food. Always a downer, but not uncommon during a visit to LOS. I think you should get a gold medal from Jimbo and Hartmut for bringing over so much food!

 

I got a great chuckle over your t-shirt story. This is a much better approach to take than getting upset and having an argument. I'm sure Oh got the point, and hopefully learns from it too!
